Boys and Girls swimming down Cathedral on senior night

Thursday evening, the Noblesville Millers swimming and diving team hosted Cathedral on senior night. The boys won 125-44 while the girls won 119-50.

The Millers were led by strong performances on relays and only lost two events.

The girls 200 yard medley relay team of Kate Holtkamp, Amy Hayes, Alexa Akers and Alyssa Conley won the first event of the night with a team of 1:54.40.

Conner also helped her team by edging out teammate Elaina Verbrugge in the 100 freestyle to win with a time of 57.77 while Conley had a winning time of 1:10.88 in the 100 breaststroke.

Taylor Parrish and Emily Christophersen were able to get wins on senior night. Parrish won the 500 freestyle with a time of 5:18.56 and Christophersen won the 100 butterfly with a time of 1:01.21.

The boys team of Jake Seyfried, Justin Ogle, Jack Thompson and Drew Sarabyn followed the ladies’ 200 medley relay win with a win of their own in the same event with a time of 1:45.18.

Ogle also helped his team out with a winning time of 2:09.52 in the 200 IM while Sarabyn swam for a time of 24.14 in the 50 freestyle.

Luke Conner goes out a winner on senior night after winning the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:50.76.

Nathan Olberding was able to do the same with a win in the 100 butterfly and swim a time of 55.99.

Noblesville swims at home against Brownsburg on Saturday at 2 o’clock.
