After playing for Noblesville’s girls Varsity lacrosse team since her sophomore year of high school, Haleigh Comp, senior at NHS, finally committed to play for University of Alabama-Huntsville’s division two team.

Comp started playing lacrosse in eighth grade, and recently caught the eye of the new lacrosse coach for University of Alabama-Huntsville. Along with it being her first year of college lacrosse, next year will also be the team’s first year as a program.

In her previous season Comp scored 23 goals and this April she helped her team win the championship at the BraveHeart tournament in Louisville, KY. This season she hopes to win the state championship title and beat Carmel.

Along with her outstanding commitment and devotion to the lacrosse team, Comp has volunteered for programs such as Serve Noblesville, Habitat for Humanity, and the Food Pantry at White River Christian Church; also, she was also able to maintain a GPA of 3.6 throughout her high school career.

When attending college, Comp plans to work on majoring in Nursing and then hopes to become a paramedic once graduating college.

While her presence as a high attack will be missed next season, the Noblesville Lacrosse Club wishes her luck in her upcoming seasons for the University of Alabama-Huntsville.
