YA Book Releases:
Sunrise on the Reaping by Suzanne Collins —
Set 24 years before the original Hunger Games, Sunrise On the Reaping is the second prequel of the series. The novel follows District 12 member Haymitch Abernathy and his journey in the fiftieth Hunger Games. Sunrise On the Reaping is set to release on March 18, 2025.
Fearless by Lauren Roberts —
Fearless is the third and final installment of the Powerless Trilogy. Originally trending on BookTok in 2023, Powerless has grown a large following since. Fearless continues to cover the story of Paedyn Gray and her fight to become a little less than ordinary in a world of elites. The fantasy novel releases on April 8th, 2025.
Watch Me by Tahereh Mafi —
Watch Me is the first novel of the Shatter Me: The New Republic series. The series follows the little brother of Aaron Warner and Adam Kent from the original Shatter Me trilogy. Set 10 years after the fall of the Reestablishment, James Anderson is tasked with infiltrating Ark Island, however, the Reestablishment has plans of a comeback. You can follow the story of James and Rosabelle Wolff starting on April 15th, 2025.
Glorious Rivals by Jennifer Lynn Barnes —
The second novel of the Grandest Games trilogy, Glorious Rivals, continues to tell the story of the Grandest Game opponents. Following the point-of-views of Lyra, Gigi, and Rohan, the players face numerous challenges in attempts to earn the grand Hawthorne prize—26 million dollars. Glorious Rivals releases on July 29th, 2025.
TV Releases:
We Were Liars —
Following the original novel: We Were Liars, a story about main character, Cadence Sinclair, and her process of putting together clues about her friends and past after an accident she had over the summer. Amazon Prime Video will be releasing a motion picture series later this year. While the official date has not been announced, author E. Lockhart says that filming has been wrapped and to expect the show to release before 2026.
Wednesday S2 —
After being pushed back due to labor disputes, season two of Wednesday has been officially set to be released in late 2025. The exact date is unknown and not much information has been provided, but fans should be on the lookout for a trailer and sneak peeks as filming has been concluded.
Squid Games S3 —
Much sooner than the wait between seasons one and two, Netflix has announced that Squid Games season three will be released late 2025. Once again, not much information is known about the season. In the meantime, you can rewatch the first episodes while the anticipation builds for the upcoming season.
The Summer I Turned Pretty S3 —

Snow White —
Releasing on March 21st, 2025, the live action version of Snow White tells the story of the first Disney Princess. From the evil queen and her mirror to the poisoned apple and the prince, Snow White is back once more, and is played by Rachel Zegler. Maybe she’ll even be “the fairest of them all?”
Wicked: For Good —
Leaving fans on a massive cliffhanger, Wicked is back in 2025 for part two. The blockbuster was a huge success within the Wicked community, dominating charts and outselling theaters. Prepare to see Glinda and Elphaba continue their journey in theaters starting on November 21st, 2025.
A Minecraft Movie —
After years of teasing, a highly anticipated Minecraft movie has finally become a reality.
