The fall season is quickly rolling into session, and with fall comes the annual Noblesville High School musical. This year, NHS is taking the stage by storm with their own rendition of the 1971 Broadway musical Godspell.

The show is set for mid-November and the time allotted before the performance is barely enough to get this show on the road.

The first step for the production of the musical is to decide which actor gets which role.

“It took a week of auditions,” Deborah Wittstein, the main director of the musical, said.

After that, the actors and crew will come together 4-5 times a week until fall break to rehearse. After fall break, they will rehearse twice a day. “[The actors] have all of the music and lines to learn, as well as choreography,” Wittstein said. The crew has to decide on props and costumes as well.

The performances are set to be held on November 19, 20, and 21. Get ready, NHS, Godspell is fast approaching!
