This Saturday, November 8, the Noblesville Speech Team placed fourth at the meet at Maconaquah. Although the majority of the team was unable to compete due to the SAT and practices for the Fiddler on the Roof play, the nine competitors that came earned fourth place, keeping the team’s “top five” streak. Of those who competed, senior Dylan Moore placed 1st in Varsity Discussion; senior Casey Ferguson placed 4th in Varsity Discussion; senior Brian Schnoor placed 3rd in Varsity Impromptu and 5th in Varsity International Extemporaneous; senior Riley Poynter placed 4th in Varsity Drama; senior David Pimley placed 6th in Varsity U.S. Extemporaneous; senior Lndon Heist placed 5th in Novice Radio and 4th in Novice Discussion; junior Dylan Brown placed 3rd in Novice Original Oratory and 3rd in Novice Discussion; and freshman Angie Cardwell placed 2nd in Novice Discussion and 4th in Novice U.S. Extemporaneous. The Speech Team will compete again next weekend at Culver Academy.
