Look up in the sky! It’s a bird! it’s a plane! It’s Baymax!

Disney’s newest animated movie Big Hero 6 hit theaters November 7. The movie controlled the box office its release weekend, beating Interstellar by about $4,000,000.

The movie was fantastic. Though the plot in the beginning seemed sudden and smashed together, my attention was caught by the hilarious comedy, fantastic character and plot development. Overall, if you are looking for a fun movie, this would be the one to check out. It has something for most audiences and a great story behind its main plot. This movie provides great animation, comedy and lovable and relatable characters. I highly recommend seeing this movie.

Big Hero 6 began as a popular Marvel comic. It stars Hiro Hamada (voiced by Ryan Potter), his brother Tadashi (voiced by Daniel Henney) and a nursing robot, Baymax (voiced by Scott Adsit). It takes place in a large metropolitan city, with mystery and crime lurking in the shadows.

The main back-story focuses on two robot-building brothers, Tadashi and Hiro, who help each other cope with the death of their parents. After another death in the family, one of the brothers, Hiro, begins to connect with Baymax, a robot built by his brother. After discovering a robbery, Hiro and Baymax gather a team of friends to defeat an evil masked man. Even after many difficult obstacles that challenge them, Hiro, Baymax and his newly found friends stick together in an ultimate adventure to save the world.

The bonding, teamwork and action make this movie what it is: a great success.
