Ready, set, lax: An inside look into the boys lacrosse team as the season starts

As we enter February, the lacrosse season is just around the corner, and the Miller boys and girls teams are pumped up and ready to play. According to senior Ryan Daun, the season should start in April.

“I’m excited for the new season and I’m ready for the competition from other schools, but I’m worried about our strategy and how successful we may or may not be,” said senior Mason Cramer.

The boys lacrosse team specifically graduated a lot of talented seniors, and the remaining players do seem hesitant when it comes to their team expectations.

“Personally, I feel that both myself and the team are ready for an exciting season, we’ve just got to put up a fight when we play some really good teams,” said sophomore Monty Atkins. While the team does have some doubts, there is surely a sense of great optimism and readiness for the upcoming lacrosse season.

Atkins has high expectations for himself and his team. The Millers have something to prove this year and say they’re collectively ready as a team for this new season.
