Treat your princess at the Diana Theatre

Treat your princess at the Diana Theatre

As Valentine’s Day quickly approaches, many teens are scrambling to find a unique date idea. It may be difficult to think outside of the typical dinner and a movie tradition, but there are many ways to build off of that and make an interesting night out for any couple.

For a convenient twist on the typical movie date, take a trip to the Diana Theater. This theater, located in Tipton, has been open since 1926 and shows newly released movies, with available concessions. Movies begin every night at 7:15. This can be a perfect, laid back date for easy going couples. It is not too obscure, but this old indie theatre makes any dinner and a movie date unique.

However, if the couple in question is looking for a completely out-of-the-box date, visit the Escape Room in downtown Indianapolis, directly above the Old Spaghetti Factory. The Escape Room offers an interactive adventure game. The concept of the game is to choose a themed room in which each team has to find clues and keys in order to try to escape the room, all in a 60 minute time crunch. It might be wise to play this game in a group of couples, so you have a higher chance of getting through a room. This kind of date will provide an adventure and will also show how well each couple and team can work together.

If the preferred style of a date is more laid back and rather inexpensive, then taking a trip downtown Noblesville with a significant other can be the perfect date for any couple. Possibilities for fun include strolling through the antique shops downtown, like Whimzy or Logan Street Antique Mall on the Square, shopping for a cup of hot coffee at Noble Coffee and Tea, or gazing into windows of the downtown shops. A date like this is inexpensive, while still entertaining.
