Pick up a paddle: Ping-pong club is getting the ball rolling

Aubrey Griffin, Staff Writer

At NHS, there are a large number of clubs. Among the most common clubs are the Black Student Union, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Best Buddies, and the Gender Sexuality Alliance, but over the past few years, new clubs have formed, including the Ping-Pong Club.

Once a month, the Ping-Pong club meets during AL, and as their name states, they play ping-pong.

“We get out ten tables, and we have twenty kids, who just show up and play ping-pong,” said junior Rory Bushong. Bushong is the president of the Ping-Pong club.

The Ping-Pong Club resumed after winter break, and their last meeting was January 20th. There is no experience required, just a positive attitude and a willingness to have fun. If you show up, you will have the opportunity to learn an Olympic sport, while hanging out with your fellow Millers!

To attend a meeting, request an E-hall pass from science teacher Kenneth Dollaske, head to the auxiliary gym, and pick up a paddle! Who knows, maybe Noblesville High School has the next Forrest Gump in our midst?
