On October 2, the candidates for Noblesville School Board met in front of the community in a forum to discuss their views and policies. All six candidates were in attendance: Christi Crosser (incumbent), David Dawson, Alison Hanley, Brad Helvey, Stephanie Lambert (incumbent), and Bret Richardson. Crosser, Lambert, and Richardson are running as a slate, as are Dawson, Hanley, and Helvey.
The event was moderated by NHS journalism students, who also wrote and asked all questions. The Mill Stream was represented by Editor-in-chief Maddie Smith, NHS News was represented by Editor Caidey Swart, and the Shadow Yearbook was represented by Managing Editor Grant Alexander.
The candidates were asked questions on a wide range of issues including finance, personnel, curriculum, safety, and character.
