Will there ever be an end?

With all the new superhero/comic book movies coming out this year like Captain America: Civil War, Batman vs. Superman, and Deadpool (just to name a few) it seems that the buzz for these action packed movies has increased.
However, what’s new about these movies? Because, for the most part, it seems as if these movies have all been seen before. They include the same characters and a lot of the same plot lines, so what is the big deal?
First off, let me give a disclaimer. I am no superhero/comic book fanatic. Therefore, besides primarily seeing superhero movies, I have no real background knowledge of most of the stories.
That being said, in my opinion, if you have seen one superhero movie, you have seen them all. I have yet to see a superhero movie in which its plot surprised me.
For starters, there is always a moment where the hero witnesses a tragic event, like the death of a family member. For example, Peter Parker’s uncle was killed and Bruce Wayne witnessed his parents’ deaths, and these events sparked the transformation for these characters to become a hero. Do not get me wrong, these backstories make for very interesting internal conflicts in the hero, but do they really need to appear in seemingly every story?
Next, there is always the girl. The girl who the superhero is madly in love with but feels he must hide his identity from her in order to save her from the villains. Of course, this never works though because she always ends up getting kidnapped and used as bait.
Even though these may just be minor parts of the plot, it gets a bit predictable after seven Batman, five Spiderman, nine Superman movies, and countless others.
You would think that after all these movies being made with only minor differences that people would get tired of them. But no, the superhero/comic book movie world only continues to make more movies.
